This case uses the PAT model for the experimental verification of the double pulse test of the Infineon IGBT FZ600R65KF1(6500V,600A). The correctness of the PAT model to calculate the switching transient is verified by the comparison of simulation and experiment.

this case to simulate a MW class four-port solid-state transformer (SST) with 578 switches, a 0.2-second simulation using DSIM takes about 20 seconds. Compared with other power electronics business software, DSIM simulation speed can be increased by about 1000 times.

50kVA Solid State Transformer
this case, a low-voltage ride-through simulation is performed on a 50kVA three-stage solid-state transformer (SST). The switching devices use the ideal switching model and the transient switching model respectively. When the switching device uses the transient switching model, the 5-second simulation using DSIM takes no more than 50 seconds. DSIM can increase the simulation speed by more than 700 times on the premise of ensuring the simulation accuracy.

200kHz LLC Converter
this case, an LLC isolated bidirectional DC-DC converter with a switching frequency of about 200kHz and 8 switching devices is simulated. The 0.1-second simulation using DSIM takes no more than 1 second. Compared with the long-time simulation of traditional simulation tools at very small steps, DSIM can improve the simulation speed by more than 1300 times.
